Night Walker is a Sci-fi show meant for audiences interested in crime shows and horror.  The plot is set at Blueridge hospital in Arizona where main character, 12 year old Cameron Coolidge who is a victim of child abuse, is admitted as a boy who was put into a coma by his father who had badly beaten him.  However, Cameron is not who everyone thinks he is, and at night, only the viewers will find out why.  By day, Cameron is a vegetable.  He lies in his bed hooked up to tubes and monitors which are meant to be the only means that will keep the boy alive.  There is no one to visit the boy because his father, Brad Coolidge, lost contact with the rest of the family when Cameron was only two.  Brad moved he and his son out to Arizona, a closed document state, to get back at his ex-girlfriend; Cameron’s mother.  The only family that Cameron ever knew was his father who hadn’t any compassion for the boy.  At school, Cameron was picked on by nearly everyone because of the way he looked.  All his clothes were too small and dirty because he didn’t have any means to get new ones.  People made fun of the way he dressed, and no one would sit next to him in class or at lunch because of his stench.  Even his teachers weren’t a big fan of him because he missed several days of school because his father made him stay home after a beating so that no one would see the bruises.  Cameron had a lot of anger built up inside him, and that may be the only explanation for what this comatose boy does at nightfall.   Blueridge hospital starts to experience an array of murders.  Each night, they lose another employee, patient, or even visitor.  After a forensics team follows what seems to be a dead end trail for months, they decide to install surveillance cameras in every room of the hospital.  What they find is shocking.  12 year old Cameron is caught leaving his bed, with all his tubes and ivies still hooked up, and killing the first person he encounters outside his room.  His actions are accredited to a rare form of comatose sleep walking, and with no one around to stop him, the doctor makes an executive decision to pull the plug on Cameron at the end of the season.
The show would be set up so that viewers would see regular doctor’s visits during the day, and show flash backs of Cameron’s life.  At night the viewers will witness Cameron’s actions and the disbelief and horror in the eyes of his victims.  The next day will show the reaction of the person who finds the dead body, and will also show the action of forensics workers.  That’s why viewers who take interest in forensics and horror would be very interested in Night Walker.

  1. You've got me tuned into watch! The plot reminds me a lot of "The Child Called It" and "Lost boy." I don't know if your familiar with these books but it is about a boy being beaten by his mother, and he actually is the author. Its so sad, but in the end he doesn't die. But in a television show it has to end sometime right? Props to you for coming up with something so creative.

  2. Soooo creepy! Haha but I am impressed you came up with something so dark. As a helpless optimist, if I were writing the show I would probably say that the boy lives in the end and helps people at night in some way or does something to punish his father, but this is definately a cool idea. I love how scary it is but would there be another season or just one? I don't know how you could continue it if the main character dies..

  3. Yess! I have read those books, and you're right, it does remind me of that, haha. And Diana, I totally agree, if it was real there should probably be more than one season, I'd probably change it up a bit, I just wanted to write the whole show for this assignment. if anything, he could come back and haunt the hospital, but I think I would still kill him off because it's kind of one of those things where you feel bad for a person even though they end up doing horrible things.

  4. This is one of those stories that forces one to keep watching simply to know the mystery, even if the person isn't a huge fan of the show. Just the want to know will attract viewers.

  5. I agree with what Sean said. Many times I follow a series just to see what happens next, even if I do not necesarilly like the content of the show. Also because of the viewers are anxious to see what happens next, each episode will be hyped up and could become a significantly big show!

  6. I agree with what Sean said also. Many shows like this keep me interested and tuned in even if I am not actually interested in the plot. If I start a show, most of the time I wind up finishing it just because I feel like I have to or else id be missing out on the reason I started watching the show in the first place.
